Stefano Pugliese is an architect and designer that operates in the fields of Furniture, Architecture and Interior Design. His work and research is strongly influenced by an inter- national background and a continuous accademic activity.

In 2010 he started his own freelance nomadic design practice in Santiago de Chile and moved in 2012 to Milan, to presenthis first collection at Salone Satellite in Mılan’s Furniture fair.

The fundaments of its professional practice is inspired by craftsmanship know how, by a constant close- ness with manufacturing processes and led by a deep research on the state of the art in furniture design.

His works has been published on several international field magazines and exhibited world wide in several events and international fairs such as the Bienal Sudamericana (San- tiago de Chile, 2011), at the Milan’s International Furniture fair of Milan from 2012 to 2014, at the Stockholm Design Week in 2014 and at the Beijing Fashion Week DHUB ‘’The beauty of Italian Crafts’’ in 2014 and this year ‘Salone Sat- ellite 20 Years of New Creatity’, Milan Furniture Fair 2017.

Since 2013 he collaborates wıth Creacemento crafters from Val Camonica Italy and self produce indipendently the ‘Marchigue Concrete Vase Collection’. The marchigue concrete vase collec- tion is part of the show room set design of B&B Italia and Maxalto and is exhibited in the VITRA museum shop in Basel, Switzerland.

In 2015 destiny brought him to Izmir, Turkey where he cur- rently teaches Furniture Design Studio and Interior Archi- tecture Studios as a full time faculty member of the Interiror Architecture Departament of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of the Izmir University of Economics.
